This Is Not a Government Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot pull criminal records, run official background checks, remove or correct a record, or accept expungement filings for anyone. For any of those, you need to reach the right government office directly.
Need an Official Record?
Direct a Whiteside County request according to the record involved:
- Court case files: see criminal court case records, or contact the clerk of the court that heard the case
- Criminal records and personal record review: contact the Illinois State Police Bureau of Identification
- Arrest, booking, and jail records: contact Whiteside County Sheriff's Records or Jail
- State conviction information: use the Illinois State Police CHIRP channel
- Police reports and incident records: contact the agency that wrote the report
- Expungement and record sealing: file with the court that heard the case
For sheriff-created county records, contact Whiteside County Sheriff's Records, 400 N. Cherry Street, Morrison, IL 61270, 815-772-5217. Its published office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., excluding holidays. Court files instead belong with the Circuit Clerk at 200 E.
